Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has unveiled the establishment of the Pak-Iraq Business Council. Through a series of tweets, he urged the vibrant business community to enhance economic collaboration via joint ventures and investments. Furthermore, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the FPCCI (Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry) and the Iraqi Chamber to bolster business-to-business connections.
Prior to that, he expressed his satisfaction at meeting with Iraq’s Speaker of the Parliament, Mohammed Al-Halboosi, engaging in comprehensive discussions on various aspects of bilateral and regional cooperation. They resolved to further strengthen institutional ties between the parliaments, including increased high-level exchanges. Additionally, he paid a visit to the shrine of Imam Musa Kazim, offering prayers for the unity of the Muslim world and the prosperity of the nation.
