“I called it the Lasagna Ganja podcast because there’s layers to everything that we do with cannabis and culture,” Xzibit explained. He hopes to educate people about the positives of cannabis, emphasizing that it cannot be as deadly as opioids or alcohol poisoning.
Xzibit, who has ventured into the cannabis industry with two companies, acknowledges the industry’s lack of diversity and emphasizes the need for patience and consistency to succeed. He encourages people to explore various roles in the industry, not just owning dispensaries.
Pettigrew advocates for increased participation of people of color in the legal cannabis industry, highlighting opportunities beyond direct cultivation or dispensary ownership.
